Settlement date...

I got in touch with the loan officer (finally!) and he stated that Ryan Homes currently has me closing on the 30th of August. As much as I would like to be happy with that date, I need it moved up a few days. I had to release my household goods early to ensure that everything will be in place when I arrive in Maryland, and with that my temporary storage will also end by the end of the month. For every day that I exceed the maximum day it is allowed to be held in storage, I incur a $150 daily fee. I NEED to close by the 27th to eliminate any fees. Three days may not be much for some, but I also have to schedule delivery of furniture by the 28th. The longer I wait, the longer it takes for my furniture to be delivered to the home. Right now I have them tentatively scheduled for the 28th to deliver, so I'm hoping the settlement administrator can move me up a few days. I am claiming the 27th; keep your fingers crossed!

In the meantime, here's a few pictures of the electrical wiring that Steve was able to catch on yesterday.











****UPDATE**** Our settlement administrator has APPROVED our settlement date request of the 27th! Having closing moved up just a few days make things SO much easier!

    Hey Timika, keep asking! Check with your SR to see if someone is willing to switch days with you. It might work out. I am praying for a sistah!! I know how this feels.

      Congratulations!! AUGUST 27 IT IS!!! BTW-What elevation did you get? I thought you had elevation E with the porch. It looks slightly different from my picture. You have the cute trim around your door!

      Its an elevation C, just with a porch. They were only offering A, B and C in the community when I decided on it. Who knows how many they have out there!

      Okay, thanks for the clarity! Elevation C in our community does not offer the porch; however, Elevation E is offered in our community with the porch. They are offering A, B, C & D & E.
